African Views is an interdisciplinary cultural research and development institute. The organization engages in solution based activities on Africans' past, present, and future challenges and opportunities. The organization was formed to seek new ways to solve the problems of intersectionality and existentialism, which it does by combining cutting-edge modern ideas with ancient knowledge and ageless wisdom that have been passed down for generations. The African Views website, or the AV Framework, is a place where people can learn more about our work, share knowledge, and contribute ideas and resources that will aid in the recovery and advancement of African societies all over the world. The organization's main goal is to promote critical thinking, creative problem solving, collaboration of visionaries, self reliance, and interdependency in order to resolve the impact of African intersectionality and problems of existentialism. African Views Organization (AVO) works to explore how gender, culture, race, and other social categories are interconnected with pre-existing disparities in opportunities for development, especially for women. It is "a research and advocacy institute for understanding the role of gender and culture in societal development."
African Views Organization aligns the existing parallel between the 20 goals and aspirations of the African Union Agenda 2063 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, ensuring the cultural integrity and harmony between the indigenes, the inhabitants, citizens, and institutional precedence for the society. African Views is an international organization with a comprehensive global African outreach. The organization works on various programs and projects in partnership with civil society organizations (CSO), Women's Rights Organizations (WRO), public and private institutions, individuals, academia, traditional leaders, and customary authorities to find new and lasting ways to reach the Sustainable Development Goals. AV works with recognized partners to achieve these objectives using a holistic approach that addresses issues like poverty, inequality, economic and other social problems, health, nutrition, and peace.
Scope of Activities and Advocacies
African Views Organization aligns the existing parallel between the African Union Agenda 2063's 20 goals and aspirations and the United Nations 2030 Agenda's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring cultural integrity and harmony for all in the society. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. AGENDA 2063 is Africa's blueprint and the continent's strategic framework for inclusive and sustainable development and concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for harmony, prosperity, and progress towards the peaceful Africa We Want.
